Since its establishment five years ago, Beardo has seen considerable growth. It initially began by selling products related to facial hair but has since broadened to include haircare, skincare, apparel, and other lifestyle items. This progress was further validated when Marico acquired just over 45% of the brand's ownership in 2017.
In addition to its online presence, Beardo now has a strong offline presence, thanks to the backing of Marico. We recently had the opportunity to speak with Beardo CEO Sujot Malhotra about the company's recent campaign, its growth story, and his assurance that the brand will have a 100% growth rate this year.

Market Strategies:
Beardo is a digital-first company, so they mostly use digital platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube to reach their consumers. They provide entertaining content and employ meme marketing and influencer marketing.
They also recognize the importance of offline marketing and will use brochures in salons to spread the word about the "Arrival of Don Beardo".
To further boost their presence, they have chosen some of their most popular products to create four Don Beardo combos that can be purchased online and offline, such as the Don Beardo Growth Pro Kit with the Beard Activator, Don Beardo Favourites Combo, Don Beardo Night Out Combo, and the Don Beardo Signature Combo.
Over the course of the past five years, Beardo's revenue has skyrocketed, increasing by about fortyfold. They have collaborated with over three hundred influencers and celebrities, such as Suneil Shetty, Be You Nick, Bhuvan Bam, Ashish Chanchlani, Hrithik Roshan, Yash, and KL Rahul for different projects.
Future:
Beardo is a ‘made in India, retailed in India’ brand which leads to a massive online consumer penetration all around the country. It doesn’t matter where the customer is located, if they are passionate Beardo, the brand will reach them.
